Tableau Server and Microsoft Azure

I sat down the other day to test an installation of Tableau Server and Microsoft Azure. I was able to provision a Tableau Server instance and a SQL Server instance, install some sample data, and create a viz - all in about an hour.

Here is a quick start guide on exactly what I did to achieve this... enjoy!

Great work Alan.

Now I really hope Tableau will officially support Azure. I am running TS on it as well and it works perfectly.
But when contacting Support a while back I was told Azure was not supported by Tableau and Support could not help...
Lucky, we could solve the issue on our own (it had nothing to do with Azure)...

If they can support AWS surely they can officially support Azure as well?

Anyway, great work again.
